RAINBOW BEACH RESERVE

Public BBQ

Rainbow Beach at Bonny Hills is a tranquil and picturesque seaside spot, offering a beautiful and clean, yet often uncrowded, beach. The area is perfect for long walks, and the shallow waters make it kid-friendly. The southern end is excellent for surfing, and the views from behind the surf club are breathtaking. The beach provides plenty of shade and is complemented by a park equipped with a great playground and clean amenities, making it family-friendly. Nearby, there's a takeaway shop, restaurant, and cafe. The beach is also dog-friendly, with leash-free areas available. Parking can be limited during peak periods, and the exit street can be congested. Despite this, Rainbow Beach remains a hidden gem, frequently drawing visitors back for more. It's an ideal location for a quiet holiday or short break, and even a chance to spot breaching whales.
